Jeff Sherman offers high caliber, high energy, high tech acoustic music for pubs, clubs, restaurants, corporate receptions, and special events.
After years of ensemble electric guitar playing, Jeff now performs as a solo acoustic guitarist and vocalist at many of Northeast Ohio's most popular and successful establishments.
Powerful vocal delivery, skilled musicianship, years of experience, and a huge repertoire combine in a seasoned performer with the ability to craft shows that appeal to a variety of audiences. Jeff Sherman plays vintage pop songs, classic rock anthems, blues/rock standards, easy-listening ballads, country classics, and traditional roots/folk music, all with energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and style.
One of the more unique aspects of Jeff's sound is his use of digital looping technology, allowing a one-man performance to sound like a small ensemble of musicians. A looper is a foot-activated device capable of simultaneous record and playback. By recording on-stage and in real-time, and then adding parts as he goes, Jeff performs with far more depth and complexity than might be expected from a typical solo guitarist/vocalist.
While retaining the unplugged character of acoustic guitar performance, looping adds a dynamic dimension to Jeff's work that audiences across Northeast Ohio have found intriguing and satisfying.
