Dave Allen Group

Available as a duo or trio, the Dave Allen Group performs jazzy, bluesy, adult contemporary favorites and easy listening standards with a cool groove. The group is lead by Dave Allen - professional saxophonist, writer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer. Since 1963, Dave's experience has included house staff musician at WEWS Channel 5 in Cleveland; two years on the "Upbeat Show;" and performing with Blood, Sweat & Tears; Chase; The Righteous Brothers; James Brown; back-up for Bill Cosby; several Las Vegas show bands and many Cleveland area bands.

With eight years on the road to more than 115 cities throughout the US and Canada, Dave Allen is a seasoned professional with thousands of venues on his resume, including hotels, country and yacht clubs, party centers and night clubs.

In 1990 and 1991, Dave was the recipient of two Billboard Awards. He has produced five solo albums, on which he performed all instruments, vocals, mixing and engineering.
