A professional vocalist for over 25 years, Evelyn Wright entertains like no other in the styles of jazz, R&B and pop. She has opened for the likes of Mel Torme, Joan Rivers, Harry Belafonte, Freddie Jackson and Regina Belle, among others.

Awards include "Most Promising Female Artist" and "Favorite Female R&B Artist" in 1993 from the Midwest Urban Music Awards and was voted Best Female vocalist in 1985 in conjunction with WCPN. Evelyn has toured throughout the US and Canada performing in the top nightclubs and concert halls, performed for First Lady Rosalyn Carter, and was honored by Mayor Mike White with a plaque in recognition of entertainment provided to the city of Cleveland.

Evelyn performs at the Tri-C Jazz Fest annually, and shares lead vocals with John Morton in "After Dark," a favorite among Jerry Bruno Productions' all-occassion bands.
