Devon Gess - Soloist
Devon Gess

Devon Gess, mezzo-soprano, is the Choral Director at Bay High School in Bay Village, Ohio. She is a Music Ed. major at CSU and graduated from Auburn University in June of 2000 with a degree in Choral Music Education. While at Auburn, Devon was a part of the Auburn University Concert Choir, Woman's Choir, Opera Workshop, Chamber Ensemble, and AU Show Choir. She was a featured soloist in the AU Concert Choir and Chamber Ensemble. Devon held two leads in the Opera workshop, Dido in Purcell's Dido and Aneaus, and Bess in Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.

She is in love with her career in Music Education, and is now singing in the Clevewest Consort. Devon has been classically trained since high school. Her repertoire list includes both traditional and popular literature.
